About Mulch Mound

Getting mulch delivered used to be the hardest part of the job

Call three yards, get three different prices, leave a voicemail, wait for a callback, then take a day off work so someone can dump a pile in your driveway. That was the process for decades. We thought ordering a truckload of mulch should feel like ordering anything else online, so we built the company that does it.

How we actually work

We are not a broker sitting between you and a higher price. The mulch, soil and stone we sell is produced by a local yard in your area, the same yard a landscaper would call, and it is delivered by a local truck on local roads. That is one transfer of hands, which is why our pricing holds up against calling around yourself.

What we add is the part that was broken. Live pricing for your ZIP code, a real delivery window you pick, and an order you can place at ten at night without leaving a voicemail. The yards are good at making material. We are good at everything that happens before the truck leaves.

What we deliver

Bulk material by the cubic yard, not bags. A single yard of mulch replaces around thirteen bags, costs less, and does not leave you with a stack of empty plastic.

Where we deliver

523 cities across 49 states, covering roughly four out of five people in the country. Enter a ZIP code on any product and you will see the price for your address, not a national average that changes at checkout.

If something goes wrong

Most orders arrive on the window you picked and that is the end of it. When something does go sideways, a wrong material, a short load, a truck that cannot reach the spot, we deal with the yard on your behalf and make it right. You bought from us, so it is our problem, not a phone number we hand you.

Ordering by the truckload

Landscapers, property managers and builders order on the same rails, with volume pricing and repeat delivery to job sites. If you are buying for work rather than a weekend, the contractor side is built for you.
