Trace from Satellite lets you draw simple shapes (rectangles and circles) right on an aerial view of your property to estimate how much mulch you need. Even if your beds are curved or irregular, you can “box in” or “circle off” the space to get a quick guess-timate of the total area, perfect for multiple beds, winding borders, or several sections of your yard at once.
Manual Dimensions works if you already know your measurements or prefer to measure with a tape measure. You'll enter the length and width of each area, and the calculator converts those numbers into the total amount of material you need. This method is straightforward for rectangular or square beds, and you can add multiple areas together if you’re working on different parts of your property.
Once you’ve entered your measurements, the calculator shows you how much material you need in cubic yards.That's the standard measurement for bulk landscaping materials, and it's how we price our deliveries. The results tell you exactly what to order, taking the mental math out of the equation entirely.

For most garden applications, you'll want a mulch depth between 2 and 3 inches. One thing to remember: organic mulches like wood chips and bark will settle and decompose over time. That 3-inch layer you put down in spring might be closer to 2 inches by the end of the season. You can either apply a slightly thicker initial layer or plan to add a fresh inch or two annually to maintain the depth.Stone and gravel don't settle the same way, so once you've got the right amount down, it stays put.

We recommend selecting a delivery date at least a day before you plan to spread the material, giving you time to assess coverage and place an additional order if needed.
Delivery timeframes vary based on demand and your location, but we typically deliver within 24-48 hours. You can select your preferred delivery date during checkout. If you need same-day delivery, call us at 762-MULCH-ON as early as possible in the morning and we'll do our best to accommodate you.
