My experience with Mulch Mound was great and super easy. I ordered two yards of screened topsoil and was able to get it delivered within 2 days. They came in my requested time frame (afternoon) and dropped it off where I asked on my driveway. The topsoil was exactly what was advertised, clean with no rocks or other debris. The price was reasonable. I plan to use them again in a couple weeks to order compost for my garden beds.

I ordered soil, the Gardening Blend that I received had too many plastic and metal pieces for my liking thus lowering the score from a perfect 5/5 to a 4/5

Lee's Summit earned the name "The Summit" honestly, sitting at 1040 feet on the high ground between the Missouri and Little Blue drainages, and that perch shapes every yard in town. Silt loam covers most of the area, rich and easy to work in April but prone to crusting and sheet runoff once the 42 inches of annual rain starts arriving in heavy spring bursts. Older lots near the 1903 Missouri Pacific Depot and Historic Downtown have compacted, construction era subsoil that needs real compost, while newer subdivisions off Chipman and Ward Road often sit on scraped clay pan. We haul mulch, screened topsoil, and Missouri limestone daily out toward Pleasant Hill, Harrisonville, and Oak Grove, where acreage properties need stone for long gravel drives as much as beds.
