My experience with Mulch Mound was great and super easy. I ordered two yards of screened topsoil and was able to get it delivered within 2 days. They came in my requested time frame (afternoon) and dropped it off where I asked on my driveway. The topsoil was exactly what was advertised, clean with no rocks or other debris. The price was reasonable. I plan to use them again in a couple weeks to order compost for my garden beds.

I ordered soil, the Gardening Blend that I received had too many plastic and metal pieces for my liking thus lowering the score from a perfect 5/5 to a 4/5

Hot Springs sits in the folded Ouachita Mountains, where novaculite ridges and steep wooded slopes drop toward Lake Hamilton and Lake Ouachita, and almost every yard here has a grade to it. The silt loam that covers these hillsides holds water well but moves downhill fast under 57 inches of annual rain, so double ground hardwood mulch and locally quarried stone do far more work than looks alone. Properties above Bathhouse Row and along the Whittington Avenue corridor often need terraced beds and rock swales, while flatter lots in Malvern and around Arkadelphia are better served by deep soil amendment. Hot Springs Village homeowners, with their long shaded drives and pine litter, usually want fresh color mulch each spring. Piney sites tend to be sandy on top with hardpan below, which changes the blend entirely.
