I had a great experience with Mulch Mound. I had originally ordered from a competitor but they didn’t deliver (pun intended) on the various days they had promised. I was able to get a refund on the order and shop elsewhere. I read the good reviews for this company and decided to give them a try. Seguin's clay loam soil holds moisture well but can become compacted and slow-draining over time, which stresses plant roots during hot summers. Mixing two to three inches of expanded compost or sandy loam into new beds before planting dramatically improves root penetration and water movement through the soil profile.
